Hifz FAQs — Honest Answers for Parents

Everything parents ask before starting online Hifz classes — timelines, the Sabaq · Sabqi · Manzil method, fees, female teachers and more.

For most students memorizing steadily, full Hifz takes 2 to 5 years. It depends on the student's age, daily practice time, class frequency and consistency. Shorter goals like Juz Amma often take 3 to 6 months for kids. No academy can promise a fixed completion date — be wary of anyone who does. Read our full guide on Hifz timelines →
Sabaq is the new portion memorized each class. Sabqi is revision of the last 7 days of Sabaq, locking in short-term memory. Manzil is a permanent rotation through all previously memorized Juz so nothing is ever forgotten. This classical 3-layer system is how Huffaz have retained the Quran for centuries — and every HifzPro student's plan includes all three.
Yes — 1-on-1 online Hifz is often more effective than group madrasa classes for kids. The tutor listens to every single ayah your child recites, corrects mistakes instantly, and adjusts the pace to your child. Parents receive weekly progress reports and may sit in on any class. Kids can start short surahs from about age 4–5.

Each class is 30 minutes of focused 1-on-1 memorization — long enough for real Sabaq and Sabqi, short enough for kids to stay attentive. Classes run 2, 3 or 5 days per week depending on your plan.
Our 1-on-1 plans are published openly: Part-Time $40/mo (2 classes/week), Regular $55/mo (3 classes/week) and Intensive $70/mo (5 classes/week). Billed monthly, cancel anytime, 10% sibling discount, female tutors at no extra cost. No hidden fees.

You receive a weekly WhatsApp report showing Sabaq completed, Sabqi retention scores and Manzil Juz covered, plus a monthly summary call with the tutor. You also get our free revision tracker to follow along at home.
Children can begin memorizing short surahs from around age 5 to 7, and the commonly recommended sweet spot for a full Hifz program is age 8 to 9 — when reading fluency is strong and a daily routine is manageable. Children who can't read yet start with our Qaida and Nazra course first.
Absolutely. Many adults memorize successfully online — often with shorter, focused sessions (for example after Fajr) and a realistic daily Sabaq target set with their tutor. We also run a Hifz Restart program for students returning after a break.
Yes. Weekend-only schedules are available on all plans — ideal for school-going children. Choose the Part-Time plan ($40/mo) for a relaxed 2-day weekend routine, or schedule Saturday–Sunday slots on any plan.
